Public Training
I got my start in public training years ago as a Weight Watchers leader. However, it was two incredible people in Orange County, California who pulled me into the business of Agile training and coaching.

While attending a refresher class on Scrum in San Diego conducted by Lisa Montano, I was approached by Conscires Agile Practices to conduct the local training classes in San Diego for their Pay-it-Forward program. I used my accrued vacation days from my full-time employer to conduct classes for Conscires and discovered that I really loved it. Not just the interactive, experience-based classes but being able to draw on my software development and quality experiences to evangelize Scrum and Agile.

It was the support and trust of Bachan Anand that put me in front of so many different people and classes all over the US, Canada and India. In 2013, I decided to dedicate my time to training and left my job to do consulting. Once the trainings began to increase, Bachan recruited me to take some of the coaching engagements and eventually, word of mouth resulted in other friends and associates recommending me for similar roles.

The best part of this story is the never-ending opportunities to learn new skills and knowledge beyond technology, ranging from manufacturing supply chain dynamics, neuropsychology, sociology, coaching, facilitating, communication and how important human interaction is to business success.

It is only because of the goodness of people who have helped and supported the agile vision that I am able to do this work. Many thanks to Bachan Anand, Zach Bonaker, Alicia McClain, Ashok Shankar and too many others to mention for your guidance and support.
